As an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Alan has years of hands-on experience in multi-national environments. Having worked for Netsource, GE - Kelliher, 3Com Corporation and others, Alan’s diversity of experience from financial control to industry asset management led to the formulation of the idea, concept and delivery of WCTBID.com. As either the project manager or as the financial representative on asset management teams, Alan worked on numerous strategies aimed at warehouse consolidation, stock re-balancing, inventory liquidation and recovery maximization. Alan learned quickly the areas of exposure companies face when dealing with brokers: from vendor set-up and credit approval to logistics support and customer service. In 2001, Alan founded Web Component Trading, Ltd., bringing his vision to reality, using the Internet to bring competition and transparency to asset management and providing operational and administrative services to streamline processes and reduce costs.

Alan operates from the company headquarters in County Kerry, Ireland, over-seeing the functions of WCT administration and operations globally as well as managing product development.
