Originally from London, England, Andrew has been in the electronic recycling and asset recovery business for over twelve years. Starting with Excess Inventory from 3PSPs, his expertise grew in the management of obsolete raw inventory, specifically, semiconductors and active/passive components. With each successful transaction, Andrew’s customer base and customer demands grew to include scrap, salvage and production fallout/MRB. From these humble beginnings grew the concept of ERT – a one stop solution for customers needing support in the management of excess/obsolete materials, scrap, customer returns, and depot repair, etc. Where other recyclers deal with specific commodities, ERT was a pioneer in management of all product categories.
ERT today is a different business thanks to the strength of our executive team. In 2002, Ken Jaross brought over a decade of market experience to ERT and helped form Electronic Recycling and Trading. ERT is now the preeminent supplier of e-Recycling, inventory asset recovery, and 3rd party support services. The ERT PartHarvestTM service provides OEMs and ODMs the ability to reclaim high value commodities from finished goods. ERT manages the disassembly, identification, pack, ship, and sale of valued components and provides the value add of certified recycling and destruction of the non-valued material.
ERT is expanding. Our portfolio includes mobile phones, digital set top boxes, computers, telecommunication products, and test equipment. Our market is global – we service and support clients worldwide, with buying, locating, and disposal services across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. ERT enters new markets and will expand infrastructure into Mexico and Europe in FY 2005 to support our global customers – from “cradle to cradle”.
