

Brent, the newest member of the RLA team joins us with many years of experience in sales, management, marketing, and customer relations. His most recent background has been in the retail sector where he has over 15 years of experience dealing one on one with customers needs while handling the challenges of increasing the business bottom line. His knowledge first hand how product returns and customer satisfaction often comes down to difficulties between corporate marketing and quality customer service gives him insight into how to address these problems.
He has language skills in both Japanese and Mandarin Chinese which he obtained while living and working overseas in Asia. He has a B.A. degree in Japanese and has also studied Chinese extensively. His understanding of the cultures and way of doing things in Asia gives him an advantage in his dealings with our Asian members.
Brent also has a lot of technical education and experience having studied and graduated with a two-year degree in Electrical Automation and spent four years in the US Air Force in the electronics field. He has been interested in electronics since his youth and knows a lot about gadgets. He says that there are so many products changing, coming and going that’s its only natural for consumers to be confused and unsure about emerging technologies.
His strong communication skills and business savvy gives him the ability to relate to both corporate and consumer and is able to build strong lasting relationships with people. He cares about people as well as profits and feels that the two are intertwined. Experience in public speaking, teaching, and training of people gives him the know how to present and explain concepts and ideas at all levels of business relations.
Brent has many interests and hobbies, including gardening, camping, hiking, reading and studying history, traveling, and playing tennis. He grew up in central Utah but has lived in Mississippi, California, and overseas in Japan and Taiwan. Brent, his wife Wendy, and their children live in Cedar Hills, Utah, a quiet suburb of northern Utah county.
