Dale Rogers is the Director of the Center for Logistics Management, a Professor
of Supply Chain Management, and coordinator of the E-Business Initiative at
the University of Nevada. He is also the chairman of the Reverse Logistics
Executive Council (
http://www.rlec.org),
a professional organization devoted to the improvement of reverse logistics
practices and the Supply Chain Technology Council, an organization that provides
continued understanding of internet technologies can positively impact the
supply chain.
Prior to entering academia, Dale worked as a Project Director and Director
of Marketing for a logistics consulting and software company. He has also been
employed in material management and manufacturing at the Harris Corporation,
and as an instructor with the Oldsmobile Division of General Motors. Dr. Rogers
is a consultant to several leading firms.
Dale has published in several logistics journals and is the co-author of the
1999 book Going Backwards: Reverse Logistics Trends and Practices and two previous
books on logistics.
