David speaks from a reference point of 15 years of experience in service delivery, marketing, and supply chain operations. Beginning as a Corporate Engineer for Distribution and Packaging at Jockey International, David moved into the technology industry with Nortel Networks in service marketing. Responsible for project management of a critical merger and integration of operations and processes, his work at Nortel resulted in achieving “Best in Class” inventory practices using KanBan technology. Since joining Cisco Systems in 2000, David has been a leader in the Service Supply Chain and for Service Delivery Operations. At Cisco, his operational expertise requires the added element of interfacing with top customers, ensuring satisfaction and delivery results that outpace industry standards. Beyond ensuring that parts and service get from “point A to point B,” David is instrumental in influencing business development decisions for new service offerings, driving process improvements in the global service supply chain, and ensuring that Cisco technology is showcased in customer solutions.

Since 2007, David has been the Director of U.S. and Canada Service Delivery Operations, with global responsibilities for Order and Vendor Management. A graduate of North Carolina State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, David is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), with a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University and a Masters in Business Administration. A lifelong resident of North Carolina, David is based out of Cisco’s Research Triangle Park campus.
