David Novak, Director International Strategic Relations, Assurant Solutions

I am pleased to announce that David Novak has joined the Assurant Solutions International Operations team as director, International Strategic Relations. David joined the Extended Protection Solutions business last October as a director after an extensive career in the development and management of post-sale service and support activities, from both a national and international perspective, for several major manufacturers, including Toshiba, Fujitsu and Palm.

Having held key positions in these organizations as a director or vice president, David oversaw day-to-day activities of customer service/technical support call centers, depot repair/returns operations, the authorized service provider networks, service training and service material distribution/warehousing. He also developed and administered product registration and warranty programs, extended warranties and the resale of enhanced service programs.

With this background, David will be an invaluable resource as we build and expand service network to support Assurant Solutions’ international expansion activities. David will continue to be based in Atlanta.
