
Dr. Hyunsoo Kim has been a professor of the department of Industrial Engineering at the Kyonggi University in South Korea since 1997. He studied Industrial Engineering at SungKyunKwan University in Korea. He completed his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University in U.S.A. Since then, he has worked as an assistant and associate professor at Kyonggi University in Korea. In 2004 he taught a graduate program of the Industrial Distribution Program at Texas A&M University during his sabbatical year.
His research interests include reserve logistics, modeling manufacturing and logistics systems, and environmentally conscious SCM. He is currently involved in a Korean government sponsored project, “Enabling Technologies for RFID-based Intelligent Green Logistics Applications”. Dr. Kim is a member of CSCMP and Korean Supply Chain Management Association.
