Itamar Veneman (1971) is senior consultant at Gordian Logistic Experts B.V. Gordian is a fast growing consultancy firm with a focus on service supply chain management. He has a strong background in the aviation MRO industry. He worked more than eight years as an Air force Officer at the Logistic Center of the Royal Netherlands Air force. During that period he was responsible for spare parts management, MRO planning, supply chain management and several business process improvement projects for the F16 fighter fleet and the Chinook, Apache and Cougar helicopter fleet. Since 2006 he became Supply Chain Manager and MT member at Stork / Fokker Services, responsible for the logistics of the Fokker Aircraft maintenance business. During that period he also became Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and was responsible for Stork's World Class Performance program at Fokker Services - BU Aircraft Services. In his role as Black Belt he successfully executed several Lean Six Sigma projects, was one the founder of the Stork Green Belt training and trained more than 50 Green Belts. He followed successfully the APICS CPIM course and received his Masters on Supply Chain Management at TIAS Business School, The Netherlands. His main point of interest lay's on business process improvement and change management. Since 2009 he became senior consultant at Gordian Logistics, responsible for business process excellence projects.
