Jaap Heijmans has a mechanical and industrial engineering background. During his career he has worked in two main environments; retail supply chain and logistics consultancy. Responsible for the integrated supply chain of a major international retail organization he developed and implemented several control and modular applications to streamline the up-, downstream and reverse flows. Currently he is managing partner of Districon Management Consultants where his main responsibility is interim management and secondment.

The Districon Group operates globally and offers 3 different services (consultancy, interim management and secondment) in the areas of logistics and facility management. As managements consultants they create value in among others Distribution, Warehousing, (Service) Logistics, and Facility Management environments. As interim management organization they provide temporary operational professionals from their extended network. Districon’s head office is situated in the Netherlands.
