
Jade Lee is the President of Supply-Chain Services, Inc. (SSI), a leader in Electronics Recycling and Reverse Logistics Services.
Jade received her MBA degree from the Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Prior to founding SSI with her partner Dr. P.P. Hsu, the one and only Ph.D. in Material Sciences in the industry, Jade worked over 10 years at the Baxter Healthcare International in sales and marketing management whereby she dealt with multi billion OEM suppliers. This experience was valuable to SSI’s Fortune 500 OEM customers as SSI possesses high capability in comprehending their unique needs in light of the ever changing and demanding business challenges. Jade is frequently invited by SSI’s corporate customers to discuss approaches to help reposition and reshape their business stewardship and strategies.
Under Jade’s leadership, SSI has transformed from an electronics recycling service provider to a value partner capable of delivering integrated solutions in the entire Reverse Supply Chain arena, ranging from Reverse Logistics Planning, RMA Management, Product Return Management, Refurbish, Parts Harvest, Re-Kitting, Redeployment, Remarketing, Design for Environment (DfE) Consulting, all the way to Recycling. This depth of service level is rarely found in both the recycling and reverse logistics industries. SSI uses its robust web-enable software to provide exceptional high level services to its corporate customers.
SSI is one of the few elite companies in the industry that have attained both ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and 14001 (Environmental Management System) certifications.
In 2004, SSI was awarded a prestigious national contract by the U.S. EPA to provide asset recovery and recycling services to all the federal agencies throughout the U.S. This award solidified SSI’s leadership in the electronics recycling field. Jade has been frequently invited by the Federal and Multi State Governmental Agencies to discuss best practice and emerging legislative issues along with major OEMs and retailers.
Jade is a board member of the International Association of Electronics Recyclers (IAER). She is also a member of IAER’s Electronics Recyclers Certification Committee. IAER’s certification program is the most comprehensive one in the industry.
Jade is also an accomplished author, her white papers “Critical Issues in Establishing a Viable Reverse Supply Chain Management Program” and “Strategies to Optimize Return on Investment (ROI) Through Effective Reverse Supply Chain Programs“ were presented at the prestigious IEEE conferences in 2003 and 2004 respectively. She is also a highly sought after speaker delivering key perspectives on critical issues in both electronics recycling and reverse logistics at the IEEE, IAER and CSCMP conferences and meetings.
