James E Henry is Director, Enterprise Solutions for NYK Logistics (Americas). With over 120 years of excellence in logistics, NYK has unique financial stability, global resources, experience and geographic presence as a third-party logistics and supply chain management organization.

Jim joined NYK Logistics in 2000 and is a leader in supply chain and contract logistics' solution design and development, focused on order-fulfillment and demand satisfaction. His experience in transportation, warehousing, distribution, systems, and value-added services contribute to successfully improving value in Customers' forward and reverse logistics operations. Driving down cycle times and landed-costs, while improving customer satisfaction, has resulted in continued strong demand for solution development, implementation and support, even through challenging economic times.

Prior to NYK Logistics, Jim led various supply chain operations and initiatives with two other 3PL's, two transportation software companies, was with an ocean steamship line for 8 years and has done international consulting work. He also spent time in the US Army, on Active Duty and in the Reserves, as a Logistics Officer.

Jim earned his BS in 1979, with a dual major in Management and Marketing, and a minor in Economics, from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL. Some twenty years later, he returned to Jacksonville University and earned his MBA.
