
John Cullen is Professor of Management Accounting at the University of Sheffield and he is Joint Chair of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Research Centre. His main research interests are in the area of supply chain management, supply chain accounting, management control and corporate governance. He is currently involved in a major research project on Reverse Logistics (in collaboration with Mike Bernon, Cranfield Management School and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport [UK]) that is funded by the Department for Transport with some additional funding from CIMA. This project is focussed on the UK Retail Sector and has involved retailers, 3PLs and manufacturers. He has undertaken supply chain consultancy projects in a range of organisations and has published widely in both academic and practitioner journals and books. He is a member of the Department for Transport Freight Logistics Research Committee.
