John Dickenson is VP of Finance for AER Worldwide based in Fremont, California. He joined AER in May of 2004 in order to combine his interest in promoting an environmentally sustainable future with his 15 years of experience in the management of global electronics supply chains. His experience includes operations, quality, purchasing and supply chain management positions at Apple Computer, Ascend Communications and Lucent Technology.

At AER Worldwide, besides responsibility for the financial affairs of the company, John has led the creation of a business model to provide WEEE compliance management services to AER’s clients. AER provides asset recovery along with environmental and brand protection electronics recycling services to the global electronics industry with sites in the United States, India, Malaysia and Mexico. AER partners with RENE (Recycling Network Europe) to provide EU WEEE Directive compliance management services in Europe.

John is a graduate of the University of California at Davis where he received a Bachelor in Fermentation Science, and of Yale University where he received a Masters in Organization and Management.
