

Karel van de Pijpekamp is TNT's director of sales and marketing for Southeast Asia and India. He served at TNT's head office in The Netherlands for seven years before moving to Singapore in 2007.
Mr. van de Pijpekamp's responsibilities include the strategic planning, development and performance of all of TNT's sales, marketing and pricing-related matters in Southeast Asia and India with the aim of growing the company's revenue, profitability and customer base in region. He has also been tasked with expanding the company's portfolio of major customers particularly in the healthcare, hi-tech, and automotive and industrial manufacturing sectors in order to establish the company's leadership in the region.
Prior to his current role, Mr. van de Pijpekamp was part of the company's Global Account Management department where he was responsible for developing global business solutions and the introduction of a new portfolio of global customers worth more than Û350 million in revenue. Prior to joining TNT Express, Mr. van de Pijpekamp spent four years with PTT Post International in various marketing and IT roles.
Mr. van de Pijpekamp holds a Masters in Public Management from the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
He is married with one child and enjoys playing golf, skiing and scuba diving.
