CASE STUDY - "Efficient Waste Transportation" - Amsterdam 2005

Klas Eliasson started as a student at University College of Borås Sweden in 1998. During his education he worked in an industrial project in Port Elizabeth South Africa, developing a Swedish vehicle for the African market. As a part of his master’s thesis Klas conducted a survey over the logistical effects of outsourcing pipe production at Volvo Buses. He got a M. Sc. in mechanical engineering specialised in logistics in 2003.

After that he started his research career as a doctorate candidate focusing on Reverse logistics. In 2003 he joined a research team lead by SP (Swedish National Testing and Research Institute), studying the reverse flow of waste in Sweden. Today the team develops a web based communication platform to support the waste flow.

At the University College he lectures in logistics, particularly in areas close to his research field.
