Kris Neyens has been working as a logistics expert at the Flanders Institute for Logistics since 2006. His main research domains include value added logistics & new technologies and reverse logistics. His main focus lies on implementing innovative concepts as pilot-projects.

Kris started his career with SGS where he was responsible for the Agricultural Soft Commodities division. After 10 years he moved to Sea-Invest in 1999. There he joined Belgian New Fruit Wharf, the world's largest stevedore in fresh commodities. Beside his commercial responsibilities as Commercial Director he was also responsible for the implementation of several innovative concepts in value added logistics and in warehouse and terminal management.
