With over twenty-three years of experience in aftermarket services and the secondary market, Mr. Schuler specializes in developing programs and strategies related to reverse logistics, service parts fulfillment, depot repair, product exchange, remanufacturing and remarketing for major manufacturers, retailers, extended warranty companies and service providers.

From 1981 to 1993, Mr. Schuler served in ever increasing roles in the computer and electronic test equipment rental industry, ultimately serving as the National Remarketing Manager for ElectroRent Corporation. As the largest rental company in the U.S. (rental portfolio exceeds $150 million), he developed resale channels and increased recoveries for their inventory investments.

Upon joining Micro Exchange Corporation www.microexchange.com and Service Electronics, Inc. www.separts.com in 1993, he developed our systems remarketing division for personal computers. Mr. Schuler has held positions including Vice President of Remarketing, Vice President of Product Management & Purchasing and he currently serves as Vice President of Business Development.

His accomplishments include:

• Buying and selling over $100 million in used PCs

• Establishing national computer trade-in programs with manufacturers and resellers from Apple (1991) to CompUSA (2004) www.compusa.com/tradein

• Developing a sales channel comprised of over 7,000 used computer dealers

• Creating a used computer pricing matrix that establishes the buy/resale values each month on over 60,000 computer systems, notebooks and servers

• Recognition as an aftermarket industry expert and guest speaker at leasing, remarketing and service industry associations including CompTIA, NAEB, CDLA, ELA, Amdahl Deane & Associates, NCRA and AFSMI.

Mr. Schuler is a founding board member for the Texas AFSMI chapter and is currently serving as the chairman for the Authorized Service Center initiative for The Computing Technology Industry Association “CompTIA”.
