Onno Boots, Regional managing Director, Asia TNT

Onno Boots is TNT's Regional Managing Director for Southeast Asia and India. He has been with the company, in its divisional head office in the Netherlands for close to 18 years before relocating to the TNT Asia regional office in Singapore in 2007.

Mr Boots continues to be a member of the Express Board and is the former Director of Global Account Management (Worldwide) where he was responsible for overseeing the growth of TNT's Global Accounts across the world. Mr Boots, who has a degree in business studies, has held several management positions within TNT since joining the company in 1988, including two years as a Depot General Manager, five years as Director of Sales & Marketing in the Netherlands and three years as Corporate Manager for Major Accounts in Europe.

Prior to TNT, Mr Boots spent more than five years in the freight express industry where he worked for Air Express International and Cargolux Airlines International in the Netherlands, giving him broad experience across the entire business.

Mr Boots is married with one child, and he enjoys golf, reading and basketball.
