
Ray has been heavily involved within the supply chain over the last 25 years. This has been primarily with retailers in the UK and Europe commencing in operational roles managing different aspects of their SC whether physical operations, vendor management, financial transactional costs or systems integration. Moving into consulting became a natural progression eventually leading him to become the founder of gc Consulting.
In the course of the last five years Ray has led consulting teams working with major known retail brands and other non retail global brands.
Most recently Ray has worked with the home delivery operation for B&Q, the largest DIY retailer in Europe, including all aspects of customer contact, controlling not only outbound but all returned products.

Motor Industry, having conducted: Inventory control, parts warehousing, restructuring sales operations, distribution and procurement tracking. Including Nissan in Saudi Arabia.
Luxury Goods, having conducted: Operational evaluation, distribution and third party logistics review and selection. Including A.T.Cross, Ralph Lauren and DKNY.
Music and Entertainment -process evaluation and identified improvement opportunities for stock management and reverse logistics for entertainment products. Including Entertainment UK, Tesco.
