Reinier Jens is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Philips Consumer Electronics Region Europe, the Amsterdam-based sales and marketing organization serving 46 countries in Europe.

Reinier joined CE Europe in August 2006 following a highly successful two-and-a-half year period running the North American sales organization of Philips Consumer Electronics. He brings to the European marketplace 19 years of Philips experience in strategic marketing, sales and general management in the retail and business-to-business sectors.

Prior to running CE North America, Renier was managing director of Philips' Northern European Consumer Electronics cluster, a UK-based role with responsibility for the UK and Nordic sales operations.

During his extensive Philips career, Reinier Jens has held managerial positions within several Philips divisions including Philips Domestic Appliances & Personal Care (DAP), and has acquired considerable experience via assignments in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Mr. Jens holds a graduate degree from the University of Groningen.
