Roger has been in the Consumer Electronics industry for over 30 years. He has held a number of roles in service, technical support, service management and operations management. He has been responsible for the entire process from customer order through to fulfilment and reverse logistics. Roger has worked for several multi nationals and also owned and run his own service business. Roger has represented industry on the New Zealand CE/IT Product Stewardship Steering Group overseeing the development of a product stewardship scheme in line with government regulations and for a number of years was on the ElectroTechnical Association board as a supplier member. Roger is now the Service Manager at Samsung New Zealand but prior to that he was Operations Manager at Philips New Zealand where he was responsible for significant business process development within the service and supply chain areas. His last project at Philips was streamlining the complex area of reverse logistics in Philips Consumer Lifestyle, which is the Case Study he is going to talk about at the Singapore 2009 conference.
