Simone Zanoni is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Brescia in Brescia, Italy. He teaches engineering courses in the field of Industrial Plant while his research activities have been focused on Reverse Logistics, Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management and Renewable Energy applications.

He is also a consultant to Manufacturing SME companies in the areas of Quality Certification, Project Management, Material Planning, Information Systems & BPR, and Lean Manufacturing.

Simone has a Laurea degree in Mechanical Engineering and Doctorate in Science from the University of Brescia.
