Thomas Welsh is the President of Pro Mobile, Inc. He has been involved in the telecommunications industry for over 10 years. Thomas started his career in telecom in finance, managing warranty and Known Product Defect financial analysis and planning. It was during this time that he was an integral part of an ERP implementation representing accounting and revenue recognition. His work in the financial and operational management of handset warranty started in 1998. Successes during the ensuing six years included the financial or operational management of the outsourcing of the entire Customer Service function for a major mobile handset for North and South America.
His recent work has focused on business strategy and process consulting for a variety of 3PSP's in the mobile phone industry as well as pre-sales activities for a hosted warranty management application for a Fortune 100 company.
Prior to starting Pro Mobile, Inc., Thomas held several Finance and Operations management positions, developing and implementing processes and infrastructure necessary to support company business strategies. Thomas has been the Manager of Repair & Logistics for Sony Ericsson (USA), Inc. Controller for Customer Service - Americas for Ericsson's Handset Division, Finance and Systems Analyst for Nortel, and Call Center Operations Manger for American Express Credit Card Services.
