

Due to many OEMs out-placing their facilities to other countries, coupled with the desire to switch to something more fulfilling and challenging, Vincent applied for a Manufacturing Project Manager position in 3Com, a networking company. This new role gave him a kick start to acquire the necessary skills in project management. He spend 3 years in 3Com transferring projects/skills from Europe to Singapore manufacturing. Unfortunately, 3Com eased its manufacturing facility in 2001, and he was tasked as APR regional lead to head the entire reverse logistics team. His responsibilities included Repair vendor management and logistics, RMA (Return Material Authorization) planning and Customer support and escalations. He left 3Com to join Cisco in Oct last year.
Vincent joined Cisco System in October 2007 within Supply Chain Field Operations. His main role is to support and manage Recycling of eWaste equipment, servicing mainly requests from Cisco offices, labs and warehouses. Apart from this, he is also involved in the auditing of scraps from contract manufacturers and supporting to promote Cisco as an environment-friendly organization.
