Walt Kerns - Professional Development Manager - Reverse Logistics Association

Walt Kerns calls upon a 24 year professional background in high-tech, aerospace, manufacturing, management consulting and aftermarket programs working for Hewlett-Packard Co, Westinghouse Electric Co. and as a professional development consultant.

Leveraging experience in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas, Walt brings a global perspective to after-market programs and professional development. Prior to Reverse Logistics Associates, Walt was founder and owner of Tactical Leadership Services a management development and consulting company. While with Hewlett-Packard he managed several aftermarket programs in the workstation and server businesses. He established successful aftermarket programs utilizing third party service providers, recycling and web-based sales development efforts saving HP millions of dollars in lost revenue. He has expertise in the services industry including aftermarket warranty management, pricing, marketing, and contracts management. In addition Walt brings to Reverse Logistics Association an extensive background in professional and curriculum development experience gained at HP, Westinghouse and the US Navy. Concurrent with his civilian career Walt spent 13 years in the US Navy Reserve as a flight engineer, instructor. Walt is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Science from Central Washington University.
