Wim achieved his bachelor-degree in Information Technology in 1984 and a Masters Degree in Business Economics in 1992. He started his professional career in different B-t-B high technology environments, primarily focusing on Research and Development, Manufacturing and Operations management. After this period he fulfilled several jobs on Purchasing, Business and General management on international level.

Currently he is reporting to the Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Services of Philips Consumer Electronics in Europe, responsible for all service related activities: call centre management, spare parts management and service delivery for all products ranging from plasma TV-sets to headphones. In August 2007, he will be assuming the position of Senior Vice President Global Customer Service Group.

Wim is married, lives in Best and has 3 children. His hobbies are running and soccer.
